Vanuatu Utilities & Infrastructure (VUI)

One Common Purpose

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Pernix Group Inc., Vanuatu Utilities & Infrastructure Limited (VUI) ventured into The Republic of Vanuatu in January 2011 when a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with the Government of Vanuatu for the Luganville Electricity Concession on the island of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. The concession involved a complete takeover of the utility including but not limited to operation and maintenance of the Hydro and Diesel generation plants, transmission and distribution, sub-station, customer service and billing, meter readings, extensions, expansion, etc.

Founded on a culture that is committed to becoming an industry leader, VUI’s operation in the South Pacific further develops new insight into emerging markets. Geographically expanding our business allows us to grow and effectively utilize our resources while maximizing profitability. Our enthusiastic approach towards identifying new business opportunities directly reflects our continuous perseverance to become greater. VUI’s business efforts are a clear indicator of their dedication to retain leading expertise and acquiring direct access to the finest services, while making every project mission critical.

As a company that prides itself on its unique business approach and special capabilities, VUI is a value-added choice for project owners. As part of their business approach VUI acquires the technical skill, experienced staff, and financial support to ensure project success, much like the kind of services people go now to help develop. Proactive efforts between VUI and parent company Pernix Group strengthens VUI’s ability to successfully deliver highly technical and complex projects in remote locations.
