Building Information Modeling
Autodesk Revit™ technology using Building Information Modeling (BIM) represents the next major step forward in computer-aided design (CAD), and the Pernix team embraces this next step forward in three–dimensional design. We routinely apply BIM to complete structural constructability analyses and to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades to detect and minimize utility collisions, reduce rework, and improve communication to the team through better project visualization.
Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA)
Pernix utilizes SCADA, which is a high level supervisory control and data acquisition system used for monitoring all of the systems of a power facility. It is essentially the central operating system of the plant, utilized to run the plant at optimal efficiency in real time through constant control, tracking, adjusting and recording of all system activities. The system acts as a tool to acquire massive amounts of data and generate real-time reports, allowing our staff to proactively assess system needs and with remote controls make real-time adjustments as needed.
