This project included a design build contract responsible for the construction of the first LEED certified commercial building for the Coast 360 Federal Credit Union project on April 30, 2009.

The building is a three level 48,000 square foot concrete structure constructed with cast in place concrete columns and pre-cast/pre-stressed beams. Pre-cast double tee supports the four inch poured in place concrete topping for the floors and roof deck. Pre-cast panels over the top of cast in place columns and beams make up the roof structure at the parking and entry canopies.

Site work included parking areas, driveways, landscaping and storm water control. Storm water trenching is located along the perimeter of the site as well as in the main public parking areas. Along the back of the site there is an area that houses a chiller, mechanical room, electrical room, and generator with an underground fuel tank, as well as water storage tanks for potable and irrigation water.

The center of the structure houses a three story light well. The building has two fire exit stairwells and two elevators along with a covered six lane drive up teller area. The exterior building spandrel beams have an upper and lower concrete flange that forms the exterior wall sections with aluminum framed windows that are typhoon rated to 170 mph. The credit union banking facility is located in the lower level, as well as office spaces, a community meeting room, and the facility maintenance office. The corporate office operations, the lunch and break room, outside roof top garden, exercise room with shower rooms, and the main server room is located on the second level, with the corporate executive office, library, board room and training rooms on the third level.
